Bachelor in Philosophy and Humanities (U.A.M.), PhD in Fine Arts with Cum Laude honors (U.B.), awarded the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize 2011–2012 with a European distinction. He is a professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. His work is primarily grounded in three core concepts: interaction, communication, and control.

Interaction is understood as open systems of action in public spaces, through the development of reactive pieces that respond to the subject’s dynamic presence. Communication involves the experimentation with new forms of aesthetic language that expand the concept of art and enable critical exchanges between artists and audiences. Control serves as an overarching concept referring to the behaviors of contemporary societies, where the use of automated systems for data collection and processing does not imply the absence of subjective intent within the system, and consequently, its potential for manipulation.
