This year, the International Media Art History Conference, we will hold in partnership with the International Image Festival in Manizales, Colombia.

The conference had the first edition in 2005 and has since gained significant recognition in various places the world: Banff 2005, Berlin 2007, Melbourne 2009, Liverpool 2011, Riga 2013, Montreal 2015, Krems/Vienna 2017, Aalborg 2019, São Paulo 2022, and Venice 2023.
Recognizing the growing importance of art and technology, the goal is to involve the academic community from various disciplines to discuss the history of Media Art within the contexts interdisciplinary and intercultural.

This theme explores how interactions between individuals, groups, and communities can enhance collective creation and collaborative design.
