PhD in Design, Master in Interactive Design and Creation from the University of Caldas, Systems Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Manizales, and Specialist in University Teaching from the University of Caldas. He worked as a support engineer and researcher at the Jacqueline Nova Electroacoustic Music Laboratory. As a professor, he has taught courses in engineering, multimedia, acoustics, and design at various universities in Colombia.
He is currently an associate professor at the University of Caldas in the Department of Visual Design and the director of the SENSOR research lab (http://laboratoriosensor.com/). Among his recognitions, he has received creation grants in cinematography and new media. In 2008, he won the international VIDA award granted by Fundación Telefónica. He has created and exhibited numerous concerts, interactive installations, and multimedia works throughout Colombia.
He is currently the Director of the Design Department and the Director of Research at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Caldas.
