Pierre began his career by creating several French magazines such as "TOC" and "Usbek & Rica". He also created and directed several production companies such as Otoko Films and 5ème Étage Production. In 2012 he founded the transmedia studio, Small Bang, which develops hybrid interactive projects. Products range from film productions (interactive or not), to print and digital works, as well as sound production, event planning, product conception, app and game design.

In addition, Pierre produces and designs live shows for "Mediapart". There have been fifty nights of shows since December 2011, amounting to 6 million views during the live sessions and over 3 million streams online. He also co-produced with Upian the 30-minute hyper-video online experience "Happy world: Burma, the dictatorship of the absurd," for which he received the Orson Welles Best Documentary Award at the California Film Awards in 2012.

Pierre produced and screened the transmedia experience "Cinemacity" with Art, launched in July 2013. Most recently, he produced "BirdLab", a free participatory science game that allows scientific hypotheses to be validated through player experience. He also produced the free app Morphosis with France Télévisions (2015) and Phallaina, a graphic novel, available in French and English.
