Giselle Beiguelman is a media artist, curator, and professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Sao Paulo (FAU-USP). His research focuses on contemporary nomadism and digital culture. His recently published book "Possible Futures: Art, Museum and Digital Archives", is dedicated to discussing the preservation of digital memory and culture. Beiguelman has also curated Tecnofagias – the 3rd 3M Digital Art Exhibition and the HTTP_Video and HTTP_Pix online festivals.

His artworks reflect urbanity and community through digital media, and have been exhibited around the world, at festivals and museums such as ZKM (Karlsruhe, Germany), Gallery @ Calit2 (UCSD, USA) and the Sao Paulo Biennial. Beiguelman's interventions in public spaces, networked projects, and mobile art applications are often characterized by strong interactivity. She is also a pioneer in digital poetry and one of her most famous works is "The Book After the Book", the hypertext and visual essay published in 1999.
