His work has been exhibited in important events worldwide, critically and aesthetically highlighting the Man-Machine relationship.

      john david rubio

      Juan David Rubio is a musician, multimedia artist and academic born in Manizales, Colombia. Within his artistic practice, his work as a drummer/percussionist stands out, particularly in fields such as improvisation and experimental and popular music, and as a composer of pieces for improvisers, multimedia performance and installations. In the technological field, Rubio investigates various intersections between sound, movement and image from environments mediated by digital technologies, particularly through telematic as well as local-multimedia montages. His creative work goes hand in hand with his academic activity and he has published in areas such as experimental music, music and technology, and telematics. Rubio has an undergraduate degree in music from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with an emphasis in Drums/Jazz, a Master of Fine Arts in Integrated Composition Improvisation and Technology from the University of California, Irvine, and is currently a PhD candidate in Music/Integrated Studies at the University of California, San Diego.

      Rolando Cory

He took the Artistic Maturity Test (Prüfung der Küntlerische Reife) at the Higher School of Music in Freiburg, Germany with the support of DAAD and KAAD scholarships from that country. He is currently a candidate for a Doctor of Philosophy mention in Aesthetics from the University of Chile with a scholarship from CONICYT. He composes religious music that has been released in Chile, the US and several European countries supported by various public and private foundations. He has held positions as Extension Director of the Faculty of Arts, University Senator and President of the National Association of Composers of Chile. Since 2008, he has been part of the musical improvisation group "Tierra de Larry" with whose members he has led the Red Interdisciplinaria de Artes, RIA project, dedicated to discovering the value of distance musical improvisation as an integrating element of knowledge.
