      Mattia Casalegno


      Mattia Casalegno is an Italian interdisciplinary artist, live media performer, and installation artist working in a wide range of media. Her multidisciplinary work is influenced by post-conceptualism and digital art, and has been defined as relational, immersive, and participatory. His practice explores the effects that new media have on our societies, investigating the relationships between technology, the objects we create, our subjectivities, and the ways in which these relationships play out with one another.

      Artist, curator and producer, he works at the intersection between art, technology and games. Co-founder and director of the East London headquarters GAS Station (Games and Arts Stratford) and theater / digital arts company ZU-UK (Brazil / UK). Graduating from the European Theater Arts (ETA) program at Rose Bruford College in 2004, he has worked in a variety of stage roles; he continues to try to push his own boundaries and test the limits of what theatrical performance can do for an audience.

      Daniel Iregui


      New media artist who creates interactive sculptures, spaces, and architectural interventions using technology as a tool and aesthetic. He works with the infinite and random combinations that occur when an audiovisual system is open for the audience to transform. In 2010, Daniel founded Iregular, an interactive content creation studio where he produces his work and commercial commissions. He was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1981 and currently lives and works in Montreal.

      Starting in September 2017 through January 2018, the Los Angeles Filmforum's Ismo, Ismo, Ismo: Experimental Cinema in Latin America film series will take place during Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA. Ism, Ism, Ism is the first comprehensive US-based film program and catalog to address the breadth of Latin America's vibrant experimental filmmaking. The film series will feature key historical and contemporary works from Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and the United States. Revisiting classic names and forms from the experimental canon, the exhibition boldly places them in an entirely new scope and breadth.
