It is proposed, as a general framework, to put into practice the principles of &quot;Participation (s) others&quot;, the central theme of the Festival and the&nbsp;<em>Participatory Design Conference<\/em>&nbsp;(PDC2020), through a model that allows the establishment of new interaction practices, supported by a discourse linked to telematic connections and that inspire a new conception of events that take into account alternatives that contribute to sustainability, the reduction of the carbon footprint, the opening of knowledge and mainly to the prevention of the pandemic caused by COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>The Image Festival, which seeks the interaction between art, design, science and technology, investigates remote participation exercises and, for this, designs diverse narratives that promote local and global participation, with the help of digital devices designed for that purpose.<\/p>\n<p>To meet this objective, the organization of ImageFest &amp; PDC is committed to the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate each of the proposals presented in the calls and offer a digital transmission solution for its realization.<\/li>\n<li>Contact each of the selected participants to arrange the presentation of the works and their possibilities of contributing to the event.<\/li>\n<li>Design a participatory platform to support interaction with all the contributions that have been accepted for the Image Festival and the PDC.<\/li>\n<li>Build a&nbsp;<em>screencast\/webcast<\/em>&nbsp;in which the presentations can be transmitted, specifying characteristics according to the modality of the calls.<\/li>\n<li>Create a digital repository that allows to store the presentations for later consultations, according to agreement with the authors.<\/li>\n<li>Create online sessions (<em>gamestorming<\/em>) to share experiences and discuss contributions in different modalities.<\/li>\n<li>Set up&nbsp;<em>labs<\/em>&nbsp;collaborative and co-creative online (<em>makerspace<\/em>), where participants can experiment based on what they heard in the various interventions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It will be very important, therefore, to be aware of the communications that are disclosed on the event platform and its social networks about production times, and that the stipulated dates are met, because only in this way will the success of ImageFest &amp; PDC2020. And it will be necessary to make the inscriptions on the established dates. For authors, April 25 is the deadline for the registration process.<\/p>\n<p>We will keep the community of participants informed about all the changes that take place.
