Gabriel Vanegas is a Media Artist and Researcher. He is the founder of El Niuton magazine, in 2006 together with the El Niuton collective he launched the book, “Seres Híbridos”, a manifesto on the Hybridization of art. Currently his work focuses on archival forms of Media Art and Media Archaeology. In his artistic work he works with spatiality, virtuality and poetics, exhibiting internationally at different Festivals such as the Migaa project at Ars Electrónica/Austria; Annual exhibition KHM/Cologne-Germany; Amaze Festival-Club Transmediale/Germany-Berlin; Institute V2 Test_Lab/Holland-Rotterdam; Sonica/Slovenia-Ljubljana Festival; ZKM museum/Germany-Karlsruhe.
