PhD in Language Sciences at l'EHESS Paris and Associate Professor at the Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 since 1999. He directed (2011 - 2014) the Joint Research Unit Praxiling - CNRS. He directs since 2020 the new LHUMAIN Research Unit, at the same University. Her research has been focused on video communication interaction in various contexts: business, prison, media, medical teleconsultations, examination of video capsules recorded in prison, by prisoners themselves, short films on health emergency actions and various forms of pandemic iconography, all disseminated on social networks. The qualitative methodology of interpretative mechanisms of Visual Sociology, Anthropology of Science and Procedural Semantics contribute to the Praxeology of Vision and Observation. These analyses are also related to "analytical photography" and to the first ethnographic films.
