The contemporary city is understood as a dynamic system defined by a network of tangible and non-tangible variables, which behave differently depending on space, context, situation and time. Each of these behaviors can be identified and interpreted through the new digital tools and processes, algorithms and numbers, which at the end of the study process are stored and structured as DATA. Topix is an urban element and part of the dynamic system of today's cities, which induces and promotes new conversations between space, its variables and its inhabitants.
Topix is an interactive installation generated, developed and implemented through digital processes, establishing a coherent correlation place - interactive urban object. The image is one of the languages of interaction in contemporary cities, and through it, Topix narrates stories that are built in streets, public and semi-public spaces, showing each inhabitant a new vision of the city in specific periods of time, creating new experiences, memories and urban scenes through the video installation.
