She has been awarded the Distinguished Professor in Science and Technology Award from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University (2017) and the Rebeca Uribe Bone Award as director of the best thesis in Chemical Engineering in 2021, by the Colombian Professional Council of Chemical Engineering - CPIQ .
