Ricardo Arce Lopez

University jorge tadeo lozano

Animator and researcher, he is an Associate Professor at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. He is President of the Colombian chapter of the International Association of Animated Films, ASIFA Colombia, and member of the Board of Directors of ASIFA International. He studied Graphic Design at the National University of Colombia, the Specialization in Television at the Pontifical University.

Javeriana and the Master's Degree in Aesthetics and Art History from UTadeo. He has participated as a speaker and jury in different national and international animation events. He is co-author of the book Animation in Colombia until the end of the 80s.

    Juan Manuel Acuna Guzman

    Social Communicator from Universidad del Valle, he initially worked in documentary photography (El proyecto del diablo, 1997, Tiempo de miedo, 2001) before finding 3D animation as an audiovisual tool. From this new path arises El último coup del caballero (2004) was the first short film to be exhibited in national theaters under the umbrella of the New Film Law (2003), and which was the winner in the category of best animated short film at the international festival movie theater in Viña del Mar. He is currently doing doctoral studies in design, related to the relationship between human dramaturgy and animated dramaturgy.
