Emmy-Award winner Margaret Dean is the Head of Studio for Crunchyroll, the world's most popular anime brand. In this role, Dean is responsible for the development and production of original content, operating from studios in Los Angeles and Tokyo. Prior to Crunchyroll, Dean was the General Manager of Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the largest stop motion studio in Southern California, where she supervised production of Emmy award-winning “Robot Chicken” (Adult Swim) and “Buddy Thunderstruck” (Netflix) as well as expanded Stoopid Buddy's range of work to include 2D and 3D CGI. Known for building studios and animation pipelines, Dean has been responsible for the design or re-design of several studios large and small, including Columbia-TriStar TV, Warner Bros. Animation, Mattel's Playground Production, Omation (Steve Oedekerk), Technicolor Animation and Wildbrain Entertainment.

Fernanda Frick (Santiago, Chile. 1991) is an animation director, illustrator and comic artist. "Here's the Plan", her 4th short-film, was selected in various festivals around the world including Nashville International Film Festival, SANFIC, Chilemonos, Anima Mundi and the Quirino Awards. In 2019, she published "Trazos", her first graphic novel with Editorial Planeta and had a project in development with Netflix. Currently, she manages her independent studio FFrick Studio (http://ffrickstudio.com).

With experience of more than five years in 2D animation projects. Lead animator for Nickelodeon's Pig Goat Banana Cricket series during 2016. Director, producer, and art director for approximately fourteen Ted Ed, two internationally recognized animated feature documentaries (“The Bit Player” and “The Condor and The Eagle”) , an episode of Marvel TLDR (The Man Thing); music videos by renowned artists, and two series in development (Madhouse and Martian Leaks).

She is currently working for Framestore Montreal, a leader in visual effects production for major distributors including Netflix, Disney, HBO and Marvel studios.

Magdiela Hermida Duhamel

Magdiela Hermida Duhamel is an animation professional with production experience from page to post and everything in between. Throughout her career at various studios (FX Networks, DreamWorks Animation, Marvel Studios, Warner Brothers Animation, FOX,) she has contributed to multiple projects that include "Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia", "Uglydolls" and Marvel Studio's first animated series, " What If...?" She is currently the Production Manager for Nickelodeon's The Casagrandes. Magdiela champions and advocates for diversity both in front and behind the camera and her true passion is helping open doors into the industry for underrepresented groups. To help achieve this goal, Magdiela founded LatinX in Animation, a non-profit organization under the Latino Film Institute created to build a community for Latinx professionals who work in different roles throughout Animation, VFX, and Gaming industries. She currently serves as its Co-Director.
