Juan Pablo Ferlat

Visual Artist and Image and Sound Designer (UBA).
In his artistic work he crosses contemporary technologies such as digital fabrication and artificial intelligence, with living systems such as bees and fungi. Generating new hybridizations between the notions of Nature, Art, Science, and Sustainability.
He made works in collaboration with Charly Nijensohn, Gabriel Valansi and Silvia Rivas among others. His works have been exhibited in museums, galleries and institutions in Argentina and abroad, among them: Museo de Arte Moderno de BsAs, Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón, Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de BsAs, Centro Cultural Kirchner, Centro Hipermediático Experimental Latino Americano, Espacio Fundación Telefónica, Paço das Artes - Sao Paulo, Singapore Biennale, Fotofest Biennial, Columbia College, Whitechapel Gallery - London among others.

She holds a PhD in Art History and Visual Culture from the University of Manchester, an MA in Museum Studies and a BA in Classical Studies and Near Eastern Archaeology from the University of Toronto, and a BA in Art Education from York University.
