The Equinoxio University Film and Audiovisual Festival is the oldest exhibition window for short films and university works in Colombia. Its trajectory has been built over several years of collective work and in this 2021 it reaches its 23rd edition. As a window that renews its gaze every year, the Equinoxio Festival enables contact with the aesthetic explorations of the new generation of filmmakers, as well as with their artistic, social and personal concerns. The Festival could be considered a harbinger of national cinema. A place that is constantly remaking itself: plowing and cultivating in the sediments of the image. Debating the boundaries and breaking the limits drawn by the traditional film academy.
