Yuliana Botero, from the municipality of La Ceja - Antioquia, is a 20 year old student in her 5th semester of Plastic Arts at the University of Antioquia, Medellin, and has been interested in performative and audiovisual media (sound, video, photography, among others) wandering through her own feelings in a game between her reality and her memories of pain and pleasure. She has participated with audiovisual works in calls for proposals such as the Palmyra Video Art Festival in the Valley and Stimulus to Keep Dreaming in La Ceja Antioquia. In addition, she has exhibited on three occasions at the Municipal exhibition hall of La Ceja Antioquia, she won the call for proposals What do you imagine when you hear the word fragility? with a pictorial work in 2020, and belongs to the audiovisual group of Dimensión Génesis in alliance with the NGO - UNITAR where she is currently working on a Video - Documentary and is responsible for the photographic record of the sessions with the community. She has also been part of the collective GMH, Historical Memory Group in eastern Antioquia where art projects are led in relation to memory and territory.
