Cleomar Rocha
Brazil
Bachelor of Arts from the Faculty of Education Sciences and Letters of Iporá (1991), Master in Art and Image Technology from the University of Brasilia (1997), PhD in Communication and Contemporary Culture from the Federal University of Bahia (2004).
He completed postdoctoral studies in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design at PUC-SP (2009), in Cultural Studies at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2011) and in Interdisciplinary Poetics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro Janeiro (2016).
He is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Goiás, where he coordinates the Media Lab/UFG, is a visiting researcher at UFRJ, where he supervises postdoctoral research, and at the University of Caldas, Colombia, with PhD supervision.
He has projects funded by FINEP, MDIC, MCTI, CAPES, CNPq, MinC and FAPEG. He has experience in the areas of Arts, Communication and Design, working mainly on the following topics: Technological Art, Interface Design, Interactive Media, Smart Cities, Public Management.
