Sandrine Deumier

France

Multidisciplinary artist who works in the field of performance, poetry and video art and whose work investigates post-futurist themes through the development of aesthetic forms related to digital imaginaries. With his double philosophical and artistic training, he builds a multifaceted poetry centered on the question of technological change and the performative place of poetry conceived through new technologies.

Using the material of the word as an image and the image as a vector of the word, he also works at the confluence of video poetry and sound poetry considering them as sensitive devices to express a form of material unconscious in itself.

The writing process and the moving material of the image function as underlying meanings of reflux that refer to the real blinking and its reality transfers through unconscious thought structures. His work mainly consists of texts, digital poetry, multimedia installations and audiovisual performances in collaboration with composers.
