maqui caceres

Chile

Chilean scientist, creative and entrepreneur. Original idea of "A journey through color" and founder of Casa Maquis Spa. Maqui has a degree in applied physics and a physical engineer who spent part of her career in the world of science applied to public policies for decontamination and climate change.

She studied science because since she was a child she was amazed by the phenomena of nature. Always interested in education as an engine to generate changes and provide solutions to the climate crisis, in 2021 she created the project "A trip through color" as a summer school so that girls and boys can fall in love with nature, their beauty and complexities.

Then he creates the character of Flami based on his own life experience and together with Martina Venegas "A trip through color" is transformed into a show/workshop with songs, stories and experiments that is presented to the public in Frutillar, receiving very good feedback from the attendees.

In 2022 she joins Cristián Harbaruk and together they plan to transform Flami into an audiovisual character.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Chile and the Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile.
