He is Professor of Design and Dean of the School of Creative Industries at the University of Unisinos (São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre, Brazil).
His research focuses on complex collaborative design networks developed by designers and other professionals, companies and other types of organizations, users, and citizens.
He developed many research projects for the development of strategies oriented towards design and innovation in collaboration with companies and public administrations, both in Italy and in Brazil.
He is a member of the Research Group on Strategic Design for Cultural and Social Innovation, the Network for the Development of Design as a Process, the DESIS Network and the AUSJAL Network of Design Schools.
He is editor of the Strategic Design Research Journal.

    He has graduated from the University of Caldas since 2015 with a Master's degree in Plastic Arts, during his time at the academy he developed artistic projects under different engraving techniques. The artist recreates crowds in contemporary circumstances, many of the situations are captured in Manizales but is presented in the other cities of the country, this type of proposal allowed him to participate in prestigious events at a national level; In 2014 he participated in Regional Image 8 with a series of engravings exhibited at the Banco de la Republica in Medellín, that same year he participated in the 2nd International Biennial of Mural and Popular Art in Cali, where he explored expanded engraving producing a work whose Dimensions are 1.20 x 9.60 meters, it is installed in the pedestrian tunnel of the Cali transport terminal.
