Structural Tension is part of the Simulations series, a photography and digital video project, which consists of a series of plastic exercises contained in architectural, public and urban spaces. I work with techniques used in visual effects for film or audiovisual productions, I simulate virtual cameras and through 3D modeling and animation programs, I experiment with virtual sculptures and simulations of: lights, gravity, fractures, solids, crystals, smoke, explosions, liquids, particles and collisions. By means of mathematical logarithms and visual effects I intervene digital photographs and videos, I create fictions where I control the different elements that make up the projects; altering the perception of the architectural and urban environment, I transfigure the viewer's perception through visual illusions.
