Vanessa Gocksch

AKA Dog Paw. Artist and interdisciplinary manager.
Born 1972 in BXL. He has lived in Colombia for 20 years. He studied plastic arts and dedicated himself between 1991 and 2001 to sculpture. Starting in 2000, he decided to start playing with computers and the internet to communicate from the then-sealed country that was Colombia.
He co-founded Intermundos, an organization whose objective was to generate networks between Subcultures of Colombia and the world. He began working in Bogota promoting the hip hop movement through a series of documentaries and a website.
In 2002 he discovered the world of electronic arts, the technique of mixing live video and decided to promote this culture in Colombia. In 2003 she was a pioneer launching the live video scene in Colombia and in 2005 and 2006 she participated in the organization of the first Bogotrax festivals; In 2007 he created the first two public events of free and electronic culture in Medellín Pixelazo; In 2006 inspired by the electronic arts, the Caribbean coast and hip-hop, following this she co-founded an artistic/musical collective Systema Solar where she directs the visual part.

For 10 years and which achieves international recognition; In 2012, he founded the Selvatorium in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, where an artistic residency program was established and the Mango Jam was created between 2014 and 2018; event that promotes food sovereignty. Today he is dedicated to coordinating a small alternative school; Selvatorium wolves.
