Is a creative director, cultural strategist, sound designer curator and radio host from Ecuador and currently based in Tio'Tia:Ke/Montreal, Quebec.
Working at the heart of cultural industries, technology and cutting edge environmental practices, Steven’s works goes from sound design, film score, international creative industry development, commercial campaigns, cultural and political strategies. Steven has over a decade’s worth of experience working with international music and digital art festivals, creative studios, advertising agencies, and production companies breaking campaigns into the market.
Steven’s expertise in industry development has allowed him to work as the International Market Coordinator at MUTEK, the world’s leading international festival and forum dedicated to the dissemination and development of digital creativity in sound, music, and audio-visual art.
Programmer and Curator of Professional Content at Mundial Montréal and the Artist Lab with M for Montreal and Creative Director and founder of hinter live, a live music web series filmed in national parks that has contributed to the reforestation of over 8.000 trees via the power of music and sits in the jury of The Polaris Music Prize.
Previously, he was the Festival Director for Canadian Music Week and professor at the Berklee College of Music bin school in Ecuador’s San Francisco University.
