Roc Parés Burguès (Mexico, 1968). Artist researcher in interactive communication. Committed to an interdisciplinary culture, which he defends for its emancipatory potential, he has explored the intersections between art, science, technology, and society. His poetic and critical experimentation with digital media has been exhibited and published internationally in institutions such as Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, Tate Gallery in London or Ex Teresa Arte Actual in Mexico City, among many others.

During 25 years of uninterrupted dedication to art, since his first artistic, technological and activist experiment, Plague in 1990, he collaborated with dozens of artists, scientists and institutions, promoting some of the most pioneering platforms dedicated to electronic art.

PhD in Audiovisual Communication (UPF) and degree in Fine Arts (UB). Honorary Artistic Creator of the National System of Art Creators of FONCA (Mexico).
