Roberto Urzua studied film and specialized in directing. After his first short film, the mockumentary "Sofanor Tobar" (2009), his work moved towards the experimental with "Aguilas Siderales" (2011) and "Telemetria" (2014), presented in Germany, Colombia and Spain.
In 2016 he premiered his first fiction feature film "El Buen Vecino" (The Good Neighbor) at the Festival de Cinema Latinoamericano di Trieste in Italy. "Mapu Kutran" (2022) is a documentary essay that reflects that in this pandemic we are sick because we have made Mother Earth sick.
