Ricardo Cedeno Montana

(1976) Multimedia artist, archaeologist of technical means and associate professor at the Faculty of Communications and Philology of the University of Antioquia, Colombia. His work explores the expressive and evocative possibilities of digital media from the creation of his own instruments and computer programs in a human-machine ensemble where the unexpected can emerge. His works have been exhibited in different spaces such as the Museo de Arte la Tertulia de Cali (2004); the Manizales International Image Festival (2008, 2010, 2013); the Museum of Modern Art of Medellín (2008); Space Fundación Telefónica de Buenos Aires (2009); AAA Bremen, Germany (2008). He is the author of the book Portable Moving Images, 2017. He has been a visiting professor at the University of Caldas, Humboldt-Universität in Berlin and the National University of Colombia.
