Colombian Remembrance
In this post-conflict era, it is necessary to speak from art as a tool for social reconstruction and as a pedagogical tool, the work seeks to artistically recreate the face of the conflict from two perspectives, alluding to the silence produced by war in the victims as a contradictory liberating action, as a hopeful action as a sacrifice to history and its political repercussion in exchange for life and that this guarantees sanity and tolerance to the pain of living with absences that must be whispered or silenced but never shouted, the sepulchral silence of the genocidal who denies their crime, justifies them or differs with memory, here we represent silence as a violent action that impregnates mistrust, dismantles the message and breaks it through intimidation and death.
