Parallel

Parallel

"Parallel" is a piece that seeks to generate an aesthetic experience for the user from visual, sound and interactive elements. It arises from the investigation of the concepts: time, space, movement and expansion, inspired by astronomy and the origin of the universe, without pretending to become an analogous simulation of reality.

The interactive audiovisual installation is made up of a main projection of images generated from digital illustrations and programming. These graphics can be transformed through the interaction of a user, who, with the movement of his hands, activates the piece and will be able to navigate between different scenes and manipulate some of their properties. The interactive component is possible thanks to the use of the Kinect sensor, which allows capturing the space and extracting data on the position of objects. Regarding the sound environment, the installation has a sound design that evokes a synthetic and fictional atmosphere that explores different frequency ranges that seek to complete the interactive experience of the piece.
