He is currently a full professor at the Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano. He is leader of the research group Proyecto arquitectónico y ciudad (Category B Colciencias). He is author and academic editor of the book Arquitectura Contemporánea en Colombia: Reflexiones Proyectuales. He was faculty representative of the Architecture program during the period 2018-2020.
He has professional experience in architecture and renovation projects in Colombia and Paris, France, where he also worked in startups and incubators of new technologies. He has been a university professor for 13 years. Among his distinctions, he was awarded the Universidad del Cauca Medal for a cumulative grade point average of 4.8. His undergraduate and graduate theses have obtained distinction. He has a qualified background in architecture, philosophy, visual arts and literature.
