Oliver Vodeb
Oliver Vodeb is an extra-disciplinary designer, pirate researcher, and educator. He is an academic at the RMIT School of Design in Melbourne, teaching on the Master of Communication Design. Oliver co-founded Memefest in 2002 and is the Principal Curator of the Memefest festival for Radical Design + Communication and facilitator of the international Memefest network. He is the author of Socially Responsive Communication (2008) and co-editor, with Nikola Janovic, of Demonstrating Relevance: Socially Responsive Communication Responsiveness, Theory, Practice, and Imagination (2010) and Debt to Intervene: Critical Lessons on Debt, Communication, Art and Theoretical Practice (2015). Her latest book is Food Democracy, published by Intellect Books UK (2018). He is currently working on a new collaborative book entitled Radical Intimacies, Extradisciplinary Investigations to Make Things Public with Intellect Books UK.
