Born in 1983. He lives and works in Vitry-sur-Seine. After studying Fine Arts in Nantes and Cultural Mediation in Angers, Matthieu Crimersmois first committed himself to business school. Unwilling to cheat his colleagues for the sake of a company, he returned to his true roots: drawing and music, linked from the beginning.

Matthieu Crimersmois has been scratching hip hop music for a long time. Eager to understand how things really work, he took apart his own mixing console to understand how sounds are picked up and spread. His future works will be an exploration of this idea and its many possibilities. Crimersmois wasted no time in creating a process called "phonoptique", in which his turntables are connected to a system fitted with photosensitive film.
