Martina Paz Mella Yáñez
Chile
Sound artist graduated in Visual Arts and Bachelor of Aesthetics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
My research revolves around new media and sound exploration as a way of thinking about the possibilities of sensitivity affected by the phenomena of the natural in its encounter with technology.
Likewise, an important part of what I do comes from a ghostly habitation between two cities at the same time: the constant coming and going between territories has led me to think about how local sensibilities are articulated in relation to their different contexts and needs as communities articulated by specific environments.
