Professor and researcher at the School of Social Communication at the Universidad del Valle (Colombia). Social Communicator, Master in Philosophy and Doctor in Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature. He was co-creator and coordinator of the Master's in Audiovisual Cultures at the Universidad del Valle. author of the novel Album (Editorial University of Antioquia, 2004) and the book Narratives and cinematographic images: Colombian and foreign immigrants in Colombia (1999-2009) (Universidad del Valle Editorial Program, in the process of being published). Book co-author Documentaries…Voices-Ideas (Universidad del Valle Editorial Program, 2016) and the mundocumental.com web project. His experience as a researcher is concentrated in the areas of cinema, literature and aesthetics. Author of articles and essays published in collective books and academic journals on Colombian literature, aesthetics, and cinema.
