Lilia Li-Mi-Yan (1971) and Katherina Sadovsky (1985) are a duo of Russian artists currently based in Armenia. They studied photography at the Rodchenko Art School in Moscow. They have been working together since 2016. Their versatile approach to artistic practice encompasses artistic media such as photography, painting, sculpture, photobooks, installation, video, sound, intervention in public and natural spaces, and social activism through collection of plastic waste. Awards: The Science and Culture Museum at Michigan State University Grant, United States (2022), International Photography Grant, United States – finalists in the Documentary category (2019).
