«Krasis»
Annabelle Play / Alexandra Radulescu (France)
Beyond the surface of our reality, blurred and fractured, there is a background of coexistence, a web of connections, a movement like a multi-stranded helix with implicit modes of communication intelligible to all living bodies in the world.
The term KRASIS has its origin in ancient Greek: the action of mixing or combining two or more things. For this representation, we have been inspired by the writings of the philosopher E. Coccia.
He used this term to describe an essential feature of the inner workings of the world: "A total mix in which all bodies occupy the same space, while retaining their qualities and individuality."
For us, this image implies a vision of the contemporary world that seems attentive to its nature and its complex movements, as well as a potential for an acceptable or, even more so, desirable future.
