Kevin Alexis Garcia
Professor at the Universidad del Valle, in Cali, Colombia. Social Communicator, Magister in Colombian and Latin American Literatures. He was editor of the newspaper La Palabra, is a member of the editorial team of the magazine Nexus Comunicación and directs the narrative journalism magazine Ciudad Vaga. There he coordinates transmedia creation projects. Among his lines of work, he has investigated the representations of the violence of the Colombian armed conflict and memory in Colombian literature and journalism. He is the author of the documentaries "Polvorines, a place to live" and "Las Demoledoras"; author of the books “Raíces de la Memoria” and “Historias sin ficción” and the photographic exhibition “Havana has a woman's name”. He is currently researching interactive narratives and emerging media on the internet.
