Jose Luis Ducid
Argentina
Multidisciplinary artist, poet, actor, director and musician, he is known in the artistic environment as the "Creole Bukowski", something he vehemently rejects while raising a glass of whiskey. Son of the Spencer workshops in Puerto Madryn, in the Argentine Patagonia, in 1994 he emigrates to Spain, where he publishes the books of poems 'Leche Seleccionada Adicionada de Leche en Polvo Reconstituida Entera Pasteurizada Homogeneizada', 'Tris Tram, Lugo', 1996) and 'TAN GO-gO Tán' (Línea de Fuego, Oviedo, 2000). He studied filmmaking at the Escola de Imaxe e Son in A Coruña, and began directing. He has been awarded several times as director and scriptwriter of short films such as 'Cubalibre' (1996) or 'Unha Estrella' (1998). He has also experimented in theater, among other things with his monologue: 'Cómo nacer humano y convertirse en Argentino', or the weekly show 'Aperitivo Kill'.
