Artist, curator and producer, he works at the intersection between art, technology and games. Co-founder and director of the East London headquarters GAS Station (Games and Arts Stratford) and theater / digital arts company ZU-UK (Brazil / UK). Graduating from the European Theater Arts (ETA) program at Rose Bruford College in 2004, he has worked in a variety of stage roles; he continues to try to push his own boundaries and test the limits of what theatrical performance can entail. for an audience.

He has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of East London since 2009. His artistic work has won awards and nominations in the fields of immersive theatre. , hybrid art and technology. His most acclaimed project, the Hotel Medea, is considered a pioneer in the field of Immersive Theatre. Jorge's work has also been featured by Hayward Gallery, FACT iverpool and LIFT Festival. Jorge has trained artists in over 10 countries since 2006, published in immersive theatre, scheduled live and digital festivals, created an interactive digital presentation for the 2012 Olympics, 2014 World Cup and a new public art piece. for the Olympic Park in 2015.

As CEO of ZU-UK, he ensures that all his projects as a company do not repeat "formulas". He is invariably involved in numerous parts of the creative process; from project development, to fundraising, to research and sometimes performance. ZU-UK's methodology is never the same for any two projects, allowing the methodology to grow from development, rather than getting stuck in a particular form or pre-existing notion of What theater 'should' be.
