Jader Cartagena
Colombia
Master in Plastic Arts from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Master in Aesthetics from the same university. For several years he has been a professor at the Universidad de Antioquia. His master's thesis dealt with sound in art.
Since 1984 he is a founding member of the musical experimentation group Encisos After The Rain and in 2008 he founded with Edwin Vélez the sound art group ((((Eat rain)))), a collective that since 2008 advances a research/co-creation proposal on acoustics, archeology and landscape/sound space; with a perspective based on contemporary plastic arts, heritage, politics and the intersections with science and technology.
