Multimedia producer and videomaker. He was born in Argentina in 1968. His works have been exhibited in the United States (Antology Film Archives, UCLA Film Department), France (Clermont Ferrand, Videoz'Arts, Nantes), Germany (UpAndComing Film Festival, Berlin Videofest), Switzerland ( Biennale de l'Image en Mouvement–Centre pour l'image Contemporaine), Spain (Injuve/Madrid, OVNI/CCCB Barcelona), among other countries in Europe and Latin America. His works have won awards at festivals in Hannover (International Film-Festival 1997), São Paulo (Bienal of Electronic Art, Videobrasil 1998), Belo Horizonte (BH Forum International Videofestival 1995) and Buenos Aires Video Festival (1998 & 2000, ICI -AECI Spanish Agency for Ibero-American Cooperation).

Throughout his career, he has received grants from the Rockefeller & MacArthur Foundations (USA), Antorchas (Argentina), MECAD/ESDi (Spain), among others. In 1997, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Filminstitut-Hochschule der Kunste (Berlin 1997; tutor: Professor Jutta Bruckner). During the years 1998/99, he was a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles, Film & TV Department (tutor: Professor F. Wagmister), where he studied and researched issues related to new media. In 1999, he received a production grant from the MECAD\Media Center d'Art i Disseny of ESDi, Sabadell-Barcelona. Currently, Iván Marino is in charge of various subjects (Interactive Systems, Video, Projects) in the Electronic Art and Digital Design career at the Escola Superior de Disseny ESDI, Sabadell-Barcelona. As a multimedia author and producer, he is a permanent member of the Multimedia Authors Group Hypermedia Studio, University of California, Los Angeles, and one of the creators of Threedesigners.COM.
