Architect from the Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá. She is currently a Full Professor at the University, Director of the research group: "Aesthetics, New Technologies and Habitability", Director of the Contemporary Aesthetics Collection, and Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Design and the Doctorate in Social and Human Sciences. Theoretician and researcher in aesthetics of digital arts and architectures; the video-installation and immersive installations; in the aesthetic-science-technology relationship in electronic and digital creations; the poetics of artificial life and synthetic biology; the sciences of complexity and aesthetics; bio/info/nano/technologies in relation to the city, architecture and social sciences.
