Hypha

Hypha is an immersive virtual reality story that takes viewers on a journey to purify the Earth of man-made disasters by turning it into a fungus. From spore to mycelium to mushroom, the user can experience the life cycle of a fungus to understand the importance of the Fungi Kingdom as Earth's premier bioremediation agent.

Hypha is the result of Natalia's residence at the Museo del Hongo, a sporadic museum that promotes the Fungi Kingdom and eliminates mycophobia, through media experiences at the intersection between art, science and technology. Since 2016, the Museo del Hongo has worked with the renowned mycologist Giuliana Furci and her Fundación Fungi, who also participated in scientific advice for Hypha.
