The authors of this article have found themselves in community work from design, pedagogy, participatory planning and doing for better futures. On this occasion they met to reflect on a PD experience with communities in the Colombian Pacific.

Claudia Grisales is a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, associated with the Center for Alternatives to Development in Colombia. It works with community processes generating arrangements for the production, maintenance and dissemination of knowledge.

Laura Arosa He is a Master's student in Design at the National University of Colombia. He works in communication and graphic design and in design for social innovation. Research design for the transition to alternate futures.

Fabio Fajardo He is an associate professor in the physics department of the National University of Colombia in Bogotá. He is interested in the design and development of creative capacities in vulnerable communities in Colombia.

farly leon She has a degree in Physics and a Master's student in Teaching Exact and Natural Sciences at the National University of Colombia. He works in Social Appropriation of Knowledge, Social and Pedagogical Innovation, in rural areas of Colombia.

Gustavo Ramirez He is an industrial designer from the Universidad de los Andes, founder of the SumercéLab rural co-creation laboratory, where communities participate in the design of creative solutions to everyday problems.

Laura Espitia She is a psychologist from the National University of Colombia and a master's student in International Cooperation and Project Management at the Universidad del Norte. It works in territories affected by the armed conflict.

Cristian Ayala He is a physics student at the National University of Colombia, founder of the Social Innovation Laboratories Collective for Transitions. Use urban agriculture as a pedagogical tool to move towards sustainability.

Juan S. Camacho He is a biologist from the National University of Colombia in Bogotá. He is a Leader in the Scouts Association of Colombia and a candidate for a Master's Degree in Sustainability Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Laura Villamil is an industrial designer from the National University of Colombia in Bogotá. A member of the PARES Action Research Seedbed, he has participated in various collaborative design experiences in different scenarios.

Miguel Sanchez He is a PhD student in Industrial Design at KunstUni Linz-Austria, researches the role of Design in post-conflict ventures and is currently doing a research stay at UNAL Bogotá.
