Are there places that are more imaginable than others? Tripoli is presented, from Google Earth, as an emptied, abandoned, destroyed city. A city that has not yet been photographed by the platform. On the other hand, the small island of Lampedusa comes to life with its photographs of swimsuits, tourists or children on bicycles. On the sea that separates Africa from Europe, images of synthesis on one shore and photographs of the other, how do these representations build our imaginary? The testimonies bring back to life the austerity of the map whose tide, like the Internet, reminds us of the weight of distances.
