Artist and creative technologist working at the intersection between art, philosophy and technology. Fito is exploring the juncture between Machine Learning and Social VR platforms. Fito holds a Masters in Design and Technology from Parsons, The New School in New York, Bachelor in Fine Arts and Audiovisual Production + Multimedia from the University of Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano. Director of Research and Creation at Chronus Art Center in Shanghai from 2015 to 2019 where he installed the institutions research lab. Studio teacher in the topics of machine learning and artificial intelligence for artists at China Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing, China Academy of Arts (CAA) and Shanghai School of Visual Arts (SIVA). Fito is part of the Hyphen Hub artist network, where he is collaborating in the development of educational projects. Fito will tell us about the Mozilla Hubs platform he recently developed where he uses data visualization to create sound compositions. He will also tell us about his new platform Creátika, an organization dedicated to the teaching of Machine Learning in educational processes for the young population.
