Fabulating with the wind

This audiovisual piece is part of the archival record of the performance "Fabulando con el viento" (Fabulating with the wind). It is a discussion about a special space in the city of Armenia: La Florida Bridge, where suicide attempts and cases are recurrent. At the beginning, the experience of one of the health professionals is narrated, who describes a crucial moment in which he offers help, but ends up being in vain. This piece addresses the mental health panorama from the particularity of a city to the generality of a country. In addition, the categories of violence and family are explored as a reference.

The wind is constant on the bridge

The wind coexists in the landscape that bursts through the bridge 

The body understands the leaf 

It takes it, deciphers it... Feel the wind... 

It releases it 

The wind takes the leaf, supports it, holds it, gives it back 

The wind's fabulation with the leaf 

The hope of the leaf lies in the constancy of the wind.
