Soundscape
Alejandro Casales Navarrete / Mexico
Installation where two ectroacoustic works, a sculpture, a charcoal wall graphic and one more on vinyl, are shown with their part on video. The works that span the length of this installation are recognized sonic works. El Sueño de Flora and Nenúfares, both are presented as a concert for an ensemble of horns and video. The music of these works is a journey in a free quantification of various intensities of each frequency to transform even something complex into image parts where spatial shapes create a great sound wall. This dialogue between art and music, lines and dots, creates new forms of music, of sounds that are only spectrally visible and only have a moment of life, in art.
