"Epiphany"

Epifanía is an experimental piece that explores the expressive and sonic possibilities of a modular synthesizer, a sequencer and a digital mixer, to explore some ideas about the activities that take place during the first days of each year in the traditional neighborhood of Egypt in Bogota.

The sound design of Epifanía was made with a Korg Volca Modular micro synthesizer, a Korg Volca Sample sequencer and the free software application for audio mixing Mixxx 2.0, under OS UBUNTU 18.04 LTS. The recording took place on January 6 and 7, 2022, with a Tascam DR-40 digital recorder in the Candelaria district of Bogota.
