Emersive

Emersive is a 360° mesmerized experience in a 3D parallel futuristic universe.

Comprised of a single camera sequence, this project offers an exploration of various microcosm spaces through grids, low poly shapes, and fractals with dominant colors of bright colors such as emerald green and purple typical of synthwave imagery. Each new space seems to be generated in synesthesia with the creation of sound and asks the augmented virtual movement to adapt: rotation, follow, fall, rise, advance, retreat. Like a dance choreography, the dynamics of the sequential shot are based on the rhythmic grids. This experiment gives a new feelings and a new perception of our senses and our listening.

ARCAAN Collective was created in 2015, with the aim of promoting, supporting and stimulating research in the audiovisual and digital fields. Pioneered by sound designer Antoine Briot and digital artist Jeremy Oury, ARCAAN particularly encourages Image and Sound parallel writing processes. The synesthesia worked by the duo Jérémy Oury / Antoine Briot has been rejected by a minimalist and geometric universe in an immersive installation. The investigation of creation focuses on a sensation of virtual movements and on interrupting the viewer's perception of space. The collective's productions have been regularly selected and awarded at various international festivals (FiLE 2018-19, ISEA 2019, ICIA 2018, …).
